Mission
The main mission of the Cardiovascular Epidemiology Research Center is to conduct interventional and observational studies at all three levels of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention in the field of cardiovascular diseases, with a multi-disciplinary approach based on the country's health priorities. We aim to operationalize the results of this research for various stakeholders, including policymakers, health service providers, and the public. To achieve this mission, we will utilize scientific cooperation with all relevant educational and research centers in this institute, other universities in the country, and international organizations.
Vision
This center intends to be the top research center for cardiovascular epidemiology in the country, leading research that provides evidence related to cardiovascular health and diseases for effective and equitable policymaking at various levels of the national health system, as well as at regional and global levels.

- Connecting with clinical research centers to conduct macro-level research and align scattered studies.
- Using valid information registration systems to conduct studies with the maximum accessible sample size.
- Collaborating with research centers to optimize data quality and information registration systems.
- Striving to empower researchers to perform their professional duties and enhance their scientific and research capabilities.
- Conducting relevant clinical trials in the form of a CRO.
- Providing specialized research services to other scientific, research, and executive centers, such as research centers and the Ministry of Health.
